MEET THE TEAM
Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Emily, comes from a family of horseman. Her father Chuck, was a beloved trainer in San Diego and mother, Lindy, is a “USEF “R” judge as well as steward. Emily had an exceptional junior riding career. From starting the pony hunter division on the west coast through wins in the Onondarka and PCHA 14 & Under Horsemanship Finals as well as the prestigious USET Talent Search Finals and WCE Jr/Am Medal Finals. Not only an outstanding equitation rider, Emily represented Zone 10 in the Prix des States competition at the Penn National as well as the NAYC in Bromont, Quebec, Canada. After attending the University of San Diego, Emily discovered her love of teaching riders while working for her dad.
In 1997, Emily founded EE Show Stable. “I wanted to create a stable for the dedicated junior and amateur rider that strived to excel in the hunter, jumper, and equitation arenas.” Emily’s students have achieved success in all three disciplines. Wins in the PCHA 14 & Under Horsemanship Finals, GSDHJA Medal Finals, WCE Junior Amateur Medal Finals, CPHA Foundation Medal Finals and ASPCA Maclay Regionals as well as USEF Grand Large Junior Hunter Champion highlight the accomplishment not to mention Individual Silver and Team Gold medalist at the USEF Pony Jumper Championships.
Emily continues her riding career focusing mostly on the jumpers. In 2002, Emily was the PCHA Grand Prix Rookie Rider of the Year. Has won the West Coast Young Jumper Championships twice, once with the 6 yr old Ilikini and with the 7 yr old Comet. In 2019, Emily stepped back into the Grand Prix classes collecting numerous top placings aboard Ixchel Mosley’s Crack One. Currently, Emily has the ride on the up and coming star Dandy owned by HD Horses. After a fantastic start for this team at the 2020 Desert Circuit, Emily is looking forward to what the future holds.

Assistant Trainer, Barn Manager
We are located at Rancho Cielo Equestrian Facility, an 11 acre ranch in beautiful and historic Rancho Santa Fe, CA. There are 3 barns, 5 arenas, a dedicated longing area, several turn outs and access to miles of well maintained and scenic trails.
The majority of EESS horses live in our center aisle 20 stall barn that has fully matted 12 x 12 stalls or in fully covered 12' x 24' bedded "mare motels". Both the barn and mare motels have an automated fly misting system. RC also offers larger 24' x 48' paddocks for horses requiring a little more room to move around.
We have 10 fully covered cross ties and two wash racks with hot and cold water. We also have a TheraPlate.
Our Arena is surrounded by trees and has a covered seating area. The footing is a mix of silica sand with the Athletex rubber and textile footing additives as well as carpet fibers for added moisture retention and bounce. There are also multiple drains to allow the arena to dry out from rain.
